Ticket System

Last year we implemented a new system to reduce the hassle and cost of recorded/special delivery and so that we can work more closely with the council on capacity.

The tickets themselves are credit card style tickets with barcodes. When you order your tickets you will give us a password that will be associated with your order. When you receive your tickets in the post (they are sent first class shortly after ordering) you will need to activate them by following the simple instructions supplied with them.

On arrival at the event your ticket will be scanned and unless it's activated you will not be allowed in. You will need to keep your ticket on you at all times and when you need to exit the site (to go to your car say) then your ticket is re-scanned. You must remember to have it scanned every time you go in or out of the gates. The gates will be clearly signed with how this works and where to go.

Ticket Price

Tickets are £125.
Camper Van Tickets are £45.

The ticket price is a few quid more than last year because of several factors.

We felt that maybe the event was getting a little over crowded and so have reduced the number of tickets available from the 16500 we sold in 2007 to 15000 that will be available this year

We are the largest sponsorship free festival in the country; about a third of most festival's costs are covered by sponsors. We think the whole point of a festival is to escape from all the corporate nonsense that our modern society throws at us; do you really want some mobile phone company trying to sell you a price plan when you're dancing in a field!!??

After last years absurd weather we had to spend a bundle of money on sorting out the site. We have also invested into ensuring there's better access, drainage, water supplies and so on.

We are investing more again into getting the sound better. More work is being done to ensure that we have clear and loud music in the tents all through the festival...

And of course. We are spending more on lineups, decor, site art, entertainment, performers and all the rest of the stuff that makes the Glade the Glade...
