Yes and we have improved the camper van area. Tickets will be £45.

We have a policy of no teenagers at the Glade.

So children 12 and under are very welcome and can come in for free with their parents/guardians. 13-17 year olds are not allowed in at all. 18 and over must have a valid ticket. Proof of age is required for people who look under 18!

There will be plenty of clean drinking water for everybody, at many points across the site. The showers will have their own dedicated supply and will have good pressure.

  5. Bus Service - What will be provided this year and where from?

A regular bus service will run to and from Thatcham station starting 10am Thursday morning to 10pm and from 8am to 10pm Friday. and then on Saturday less regularly.. The bus will run again back to the station from midday on Sunday until late and again from 8am on Monday until everyone has left site.... First Great Western who manages the station has agreed to improve the number of trains at peak times and more buses will be put on too to prevent congestion. Paasengers will be asked to pay a small fare and festival tickets must be shown.

We are also running coaches from London, Bristol and Exeter. Please see COACH PACKAGE to the left. We are now also running a coach from Manchester via Birmingham.

  6. If we drive will we have to pay for parking?

It depends. We try and discourage too much fossil fuel burning and local traffic congestion by saying that if you have 3 or more in your car then parking will be free. If there is 1 or 2 people in a vehicle then they will have to pay a £5 'green tax' at the gate as in previous years..

  7. Will there be lock up facilities this year for personal and valuable stuff?

We have a 24 hour fully secure and manned free lock up at the Glade Festival. We strongly encourage people to use it! Information as to where it is will be clear at the gate and in the programme.

  8. How do I get a trader/stall pitch?

    We are full up now.

We actually don't have an up and coming stage as such. it's been talked about and may well become a feature in the future.
